Andy Griffiths

Andy has been described as “a forward thinker with the ability to create a vision appropriate to current and anticipated circumstances”. His experience includes:

  • Chief Executive of a homelessness charity.
  • Policy development at Business Link for London, particularly relating to start-up businesses and social enterprise.
  • Directorship of a consultancy operating in the Third Sector.
  • Career development consultancy and outplacement with Coutts Career Consultants
    for clients such as National Power, Powergen, Barclays, General Motors, Nuclear Electric.
  • Senior personnel role with British Coal Opencast, including the year long period
    of the Miners' Strike.
  • And, in contrast, a two year spell playing violin and touring with a folk-rock band.

He has the ability to apply experience distilled from these varied roles in new situations to challenge the status quo – and in a good humoured way.

Andy holds a degree in Geography from University of Manchester, postgraduate certificates in Counselling Studies and Fundraising Management from Leicester and The Open Universities respectively and a postgraduate Diploma in Social Enterprise Development from University of East London. He is currently investing in Executive Coaching training.

He is passionate about music and rugby and is a Fellow of the Royal Society
of Arts.

Linda Griffiths

Linda Griffiths

Linda has worked in the private, public and voluntary sectors. Her work primarily focuses on coaching Executive Directors, Managing Directors and Directors of businesses in the areas of governance, leadership, long term strategy and human resource management and development. Linda has been appointed to the London Development Agency consultancy panel for specialist interim and consultancy services in organisational development and change management.

Her experience includes:

  • Advising a leading financial City firm on three separate and successful Investors in People accreditations.
  • After completing four years of coaching with the Managing Director of an Independent Foster Care Agency Linda was asked to become the company's first Non Executive Director.
  • Appointment as a Non Executive Director of a leading central London conference and banqueting company.
  • Acting in a coaching capacity to Chief Executives/Principals of FE Colleges throughout England.
  • Over two years as an Independent Business Development Consultant.
  • Eight years as a Business Adviser with Business Link for London.
  • Three years in Sales Management at Melrose Films – a company making Management training films.

Linda holds a Diploma in Management Studies (DMS) from London Guildhall University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Westminster Business School. Linda is a Member of the Institute of Directors, a Professional Member of the Chartered Management Institute, a Licentiate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Linda enjoys cooking and swimming, is Company Secretary of a women's investment club and is a Committee Member of Women in Management, London (part of CMI).
